To calculate this, first you need to do the two circles on the ends. The area of a circle with diameter 1.5 cm is
Pi * r * r =
3.14 * 0.75 * 0.75 = 1.77
Take it times 2 since there are two ends.
2 * 1.77 = 3.53 sq/cm

Now take the circumference of the circle times the height
2 * Pi * r * h =
2 * 3.14 * 0.75 * 5 cm = 23.55 sq/cm

Add these together
3.53 + 23.55 = 27.08 sq / cm
