In a class no of girls is 11 more than the no of boys .If the total no.of students in the class is 55 how many are girls?

So the way I answer these questions is using an equation

(x is no. Of students )

Girls= x+11

Boys = x

2x+11= 55

2x=44

x=22

So the boys are 22 and to get the girls, you add 11. The answer would be 33 girls
