~Distributive Property

(5 * y) + (5 * 2/5) = -13

~Simplify

5y + 2 = -13

~Subtract 2 to both sides

5y + 2 - 2 = -13 - 2

~Simplify

5y = -15

~Divide 5 to both sides

~Simplify
