the answer is 3c + 4d - 15e

1. apply the distributive property
3(-2c)+3(4d)+3(-5e)+9c-8d

2. simplify
-6c+12d-15e+9c-8d

3. add -6c and 9c
3c+12d-15e-8d

4. subtract 8d from 12d
3c+4d-15e
