This mean 'x squared is less than 100'.
So A (x = 6) is a solution because 6^2 = 36 which is less than 100.

x = 10 is not a solution as x^2 = 10^2 = 100  (NOt less than).
The answer is  A and D.   ( note -14^2 = 156 and (-10^2 - = 100)
