A freight train is half a mile long. it travels at a speed of 60 mph. it comes to a tunnel that is 1 mile long. how long will it take the train to pass completely through

It would take the train 1 minute to pass through the tunnel.

1 ÷ 60 = 1/60 mph
1/60 mph also equals 1 min, since there are 60 min in an hour
