Since volume is L*W*H and both are equal then you can have

2*3*6=3*4*x

You can reduce it down to

36=12x

Divide each side by 12 and you have

x=3
The length is 3 in

Volume = l*w*h
Box A:
6*3*2=36 inches cubed

Box B :
36=l*4*3
36=12l
L= 36/12=3
Length of box B = 3 inches (B)
