Each myofibril is made up of two types of protein filaments-actin and myosin.
A myofibril is unit of a muscle cell composed of protein filaments which are involved in muscle contraction, titin, and other proteins that hold them together. Proteins of myofibril are organized into myofilaments, which repeat along the length of the myofibril in sections-sarcomeres.
