There are three types of artificial cloning:
Gene cloning: copies a few segments of DNA or genes.
Reproductive cloning: it copies the whole animal.
Therapeutic cloning: produces embryonic stem cells for experiments aimed at creating tissues to replace injured or diseased tissues.
